I am a qualified primary school teacher, and have been a highly regarded, successful private tutor for 18 years. I have worked as a class teacher in independent schools for the past twelve years, as well as having previously taught in the state sector. I have worked for the Dyslexia Association, and am trained in the SRS method which helps children who have difficulty with reading. I understand the learning targets and needs of all ages and abilities at Key Stages 1 and 2. My approach is friendly and professional. I offer 7 + exam tuition, and 11 + tuition for private schools as well as grammar schools. I have a high success rate for entrance exams to secondary schools. I work well with children of all academic levels.

An Atom Learning Webinar Tutor


Over the summer of 2020, I have been presenting webinars for Atom Learning, a successful online learning platform. I delivered week long intensive online courses in English grammar, punctuation, comprehension and vocabulary for higher Key Stage 2. I really enjoyed the experience and received good feedback.
